Pre-school admission only the first step in helping kids from disadvantaged families

A society can only be as strong as its most vulnerable members. Recognising this, Singapore is taking a major step towards levelling the playing field for children born into disadvantaged families.

The Forward SG report has revealed that the nation intends to provide full childcare subsidies for children from lower-income families and prioritise their enrolment in anchor operator pre-schools, making pre-school education more accessible and affordable.
